No, I definitely do not see the daughter as an extension of the mother, but she is like her mother in some ways. Sometimes I think a woman does see her husband as one of her sons. She tries to make him mind.

Yes...Subconsciously, the respective parent sees the daughter as an extension of the mother and the son an extension of the father.

In truly loving relationships, one may favor one over the other but I do not believe that there is a division with the love in percentages.

I'm not sure I really get your question, but......moms and dads love their sons and daughters just as much as they love their spouses, but they love them in a vastly different way.
