Who knows.
I am pretty Conservative and I have divorced and remarried.
I stayed in a bad marriage for 9 years trying to make it work. The military is not easy on a marriage. A growing politician has it just as hard.
Marriage in general is not something a lot of people uphold as we used to....

Your right. They should be held to a higher standard. I can understand if things go wrong comming up in the political arena with marriage. I can understand 10 divorces as long as it was not because of abuse, adultery, etc. Sometimes people rush into a marriage. I am not saying it is "right", but it does happen.
It is hard to accept a President that cheats on his wife or abuses his wife. But in todays morally challenged society, we are going to see a Lot more of them in the future. (bleh)
As far a Gingrinch goes, he is a loser anyway.

That is the difference between political rhetoric and reality. (of course it's not just the Republicans. Both sides are guilty). Republicans say they are the family values Christian party but Christ said that to divorce and remarry is adultery. With that contradiction, how can they rail against Clinton's extramarital affair or say they support God's view of marriage in the same sex marriage debate?
The real disgrace is not candidates, their personal lives, or their platforms. The real disgrace are the voters that buy into the sound byte silly rhetoric.
Neither party spends more than the other. That means they have to tax the same. It's only a matter of paying now or paying later. Neither party is against family values or God. Neither party is more patriotic than the other.
Unfortunately, voters parrot both parties' pundits to the point that ridiculous assertions become a part of everyday conversation.

Because the first wives were home makers and they do not want or participate in the Bull shiiite of public life.And you know how politicians generally are ,they will sell their own mother for votes and for sake of their public image.One of the biggest example is Sen.Dole and Elizabeth Dole.He got rid of his first wife to marry Liz so that his public image could go up.Now Bill Clinton Giuliani and Newt were another story they were like street dogs ready for action on any one in heat.No wonder they are living dogs life.Any way the 5s are only the official ones and just the tip of iceberg.
