I'm on yasmin birth control pills[have been for 2 yrs]. One day this month I forgot if I took my pill or not, I counted the days on the pack and took another one thinking that it was my 1st one that day, but after that I kept getting confused, and today when I looked at my birth control pack its saying I'm going to probably start a day early, so obviously that'd mean I took 2 pills in one day accidentally. How does that affect women? I NEVER had a mis-hap like this before, but I totally forgot if I took it or not, usually I mark the days on it, but this time I didn't so I think I should again lol.

I don'y know hot this next periods going to turn out [next wk], because I've been on antibiotics this month for strept throat, I've had thhe mishap of not remembering if I took a pill already or not, and my last period decided to come one day only. So I don't know how this next periods going to turn out.

JJ.... Look I'm only on birth control because my dr is making me because of irregular periods! I don't believe in abortion and I'm not trying to harm a baby or take God's position so shut the **** up stupid!

Yasmin is a low-dose pill. There are other pills that have as much estrogen as two Yasmin, and some women take these every day.
It could cause a little nausea, or perhaps a headache if you are very sensitive to estrogen. That would be a short-term effect, on that day only. In most cases, it will have no effect at all, certainly no long-term effects.
the other question --
There would be no harmful effects on the fetus if you were pregnant, even if you took two pills. This is very well known and documented -- thousands of women have taken OCPs while pregnant and not knowing it, and there are no harmful effects. It's estrogen and progesterone, just like your body makes, only in smaller amounts than when you are pregnant, actually.
Don't let people scare you, you have nothing to worry about.

Call your doctor and the do have RN that will answer question 24/7. Do not stay on the pill more thank 5 years you may not be able to have children or side effects. No this anything that can stop reproduction there might be a price to pay.

Oh girl you gone die!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!! No just kidding. Me and my sis used to take Yasmin. I would keep taking them as usual -unless- your period is in sync with the pills....then I would skip a day. If not just keep taking them. Missing 2-3 days is when you need to refer to the instructions that came with the pills. It will tell you how many to take according to how many days you have missed.
