She is separated and shares an apartment with her mom right now who we both cannot stand. Her lease is going to be up in a couple months and she has been wanting us two to get an apartment together.
But...She has two children (who I consider my niece and nephew) and she and her husband who are separted right now and are working on getting back together. I must say that we all get along great and we have the same living standards, but would it really be a good idea to get a 3 bedroom apartment with them?....please give me your opinions!

I wouldn't do it if I were you. You will probably end up babysitting while she and her husband get reconnected. There will be almost no way you will have anytime to yourself. Even if you really like your 'niece and nephew' they most likely will not leave you alone. My boyfriend did a similar thing only his friend was a single dad. It was horrible!! Then to top it off the ex girlfriend moved back in and they wanted him out ASAP! I would definately advise against it.

Well, if you all get along well then it might not be so bad. But just keep in mind that it might be hectic living with a family and you may not be able to live the way you normally would live if you were single - i.e. bringing gentleman to your apartment and things like that.
Another thing you may want to consider is the fact you may turn into a live in nanny. Dealing with your friend and her hubby may prove to be a big deal too - working through marital problems is some tough stuff and the road might be quite bumpy for a while.
