I got a job serving beer in a place called "The Flying Dutchman"
I ran the whole place...talk about experience.
I have to say...it was a blast. But I am really full of energy...always have been.
The owner just left me...no liquor...just beer. I was not 21 either....things were different back in the 70's and 80's.
this was just a little tiny beer bar...it really was fun I learned how to play pool there.
Guys would stick around at night to help you close up...they would too. But..things aren't like that anymore...geeeech...not now a day...bar bully's are killing women.
but anyway...it was great fun...it was really not even
working..cause the guys would hail in the big cases of beer and even help me put them away...of course I give them
beers for that...I made alot of money too. I bought a drove a brand new car and supported a child.
And lived at the beach in San Diego.

Clerk in a five and dime when I was 15. It was fun but the people I worked with could get on my nerves. I enjoyed working with the public and earning my own money. Now, I'd rather win the lottery. :)

McDonald's. I worked there the day I turned 16. My whole first day was spent looking for the "left handed" spatula, which I never found. On my second day, I found out there was no such thing as a "left handed" spatula.

15 and worked at McDonalds. They hired me because I was small enough to get up inside the play tower and clean it. Gross but it was a job, moved on to bigger and better things now.

I worked at Sir Georges Royal Buffet when I was 16 and I hated it. I had to mix industrial size salads of beets and carrot/raisin.I asked my dad if I could quit, and since he hated those salads too, he agree.

I was 13 years old and I worked at a produce stand.
The people were really mean to me all the time, I couldn't do anything right it seemed and then they fired me.
The bastards!
