I don't have any liquid until one hour after eating, since I have recently learned that taking in liquids interferes with the digestion process. It's good to drink as much as you want before eating and then waiting an hour after eating so that the food can be properly digested.

Yes I can go the whole meal without a drink, unless we are at a restaurant, because the drink always comes first. My hubby thinks it's weird.

Depends on the meal. If I'm eating potatoes or something sort of salty like popcorn cakes, I need a lot of drinks. But if I'm eating something like waffles and syrup, I surprisingly do not need anything to drink! Isn't that strange?
