I starred your question...think it's a good one.
For me, I guess it would be all my photos, for sentimental reasons, of course. My conga drums would be the next thing that I'd try to get out of the house before it burned down.

The shadow box I made of the few mementos I have of my son. A small clipping of hair, his ultrasound picture, a picture of him at birth, his funeral notice, footprints, and a mini-card with his birth stats all in a wooden shadowbox.

my books - partly because some of them are left from my father, who died long ago.
my tools - because they let me express myself, make things. especially the ones I designed.
