not current, but you should look at the career of Rip Sewell.
He pitched a while back but would throw his eephus 25 feet into the air and would come across the plate in slow motion.
Ted Williams crushed one Sewell threw in the 1946 All-Star Game held in Boston.
The footage of the pitch is pretty amazing.
Good times.....

Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez throws the eephus pitch once in a while and he is the best. He threw one against the A's when he was with the yankees and it just buckled the batter. The pitcher that throws it regularly is definitely Casey Fossum

No one in the major leagues will ever be stupid enough to regularly throw that pitch. It's great for a shake up pitch maybe once every game, but if it's in someone's regular arsenal, hitters will just wait for a bloopy to come to them and mash it out of the stadium.
I have seen El Duque, Roy Oswalt, and Mike Mussina throw eephus pitches before.

Casey Fossum throws a variation of the eephus pitch, when he played for Boston we called it "the Fossum Flip"

Not since the 50's on a regular basis. Every once in a while someone may try something similar, but not often. It's a gimmick or surprise pitch used rarely.

I think Casey Fossum throws a sort of eephus from time to time.

Older days of baseball one ball can be used for the time of an finished activity and no one could imagine two times about it. Now if a ball hits the airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dirt, there's a clean ball. the game has replaced and too many balls are used now.

Unfortunately, noboby throws the ephus, nor have I ever seen someone really throw it. Some players though can throw Ephus-like change ups or curves such as Fernando Rodney.

i don't believe there is, but you can go on wikipedia and check it out.If anyone ever threw it regularly, all the batters would know and the pitcher's ERA would be like 20, lol, since everyone would keep hitting HRs off of them.
