You set your clock FORWARD so tomorrow when it's 7 pm it's really 6 pm and it will be lighter out. But in the morning it will be darker, but who cares.
You gain 1 hour of daylight every month starting January to June, and then you lose an hour from June to December.
So do the math, it gets lighter by 2 minutes each day until the end of June and then it reverses.

An easy way to remember . Spring forward, Fall back. Turn your clock forward by one hour. If it's 4pm make it read 5pm. You can do this just before going to bed, you don't have to do it at 2am in the morning,. Remember you will be getting up an hour early so go to bed accordingly
