Well why don't you just drop everything you were planning as well as all that you were doing so "your friend" can keep her plans and her agenda will remain nice and tight and cozy. This sound like a good story line for the new show "Wedding Bells". Possibly even "Bridezilla". This friend seems like she undermines everything you are trying to plan for youself. She's cheeky all right with a large ammount of nerve thrown in to boot. Why is it that she would change her plans so suddenly as to coincide with what you are doing? Can't she plan her own wedding without borrowing your ideas? So how important is this friendship to you anyway? Is there anyay that you could possibly have a wedding of your own design withouther trying to rewrite your schedule? Wow! You have your own wedding plans you take care of without worrying about how to manage a second one. Weddings are tough enough to deal with without taking on another one. Especially in such a close time frame. You had yours all set up before she came up with these plans that intruded on you. Like all of a sudden you have to change your plans so they will fit her program. Make you wonder if should have told her anything at all. But hey, friendship is friendship no matter how one sided it is yeah? Just see how long this friendship can last if you are determined to carry out what you wanted to do from the beginning. You probably should too even though you seem more of the type of person who would try to accomodate for the sake of a frienship. Still there is enough time so maybe something can be worked out.

go ahead with your wedding. if she wants you their bad enough she will work around YOUR scheduel because YOU have already made reservations. don't delay your honeymoon, you only get married once(hopefully) and you need to do what you want that day. Weddings are all about you and your hubby. good luck!

I agree if she truley a good friend, she wouldn't of asked you to delay yours, she should pick another date so you could be there without delaying any of your honeymoon plans. That's the real meaning of a friendship put your friend before yourself during any of the same circumstances.

I think your friend is only thinking about herself and being very selfish.
Have your wedding, go on your honeymoon and don't worry about your friend if that's what you want to call her. A true honest friend would have sense enough to know that you already have all your plans.
Congratulations, god bless,good luck.

It sound like you don't have a very good friend. It doesn't sound like she has much respect for you and your fiance ether. tell her all the tell her that you rather no put your honeymoon off for two week. Then you need to disused what is in importune.

I think your un-friend is trying to steal you thunder. Go on your honemoon for pete-sake!
Send her a note of regret and a $20 gift card to Target or somewhere.....then she should get the message.
She is rude and inconsiderate. You should be in the market for a new friend!

She's a twit. Why do you want to go to her wedding anyway? Tell her you have your plans and if she wants to schedule her wedding during your honeymoon, I say "oh well". Afterall, you had your plans set first.

I think she's just being a bit selfish and inconsiderate, nothing more and nothing less. Go ahead with your plans, either she'll fit round you or she won't. Either way the day is about you and your husband, not anyone else.

She sounds like a nutjob, but what are you gonna do? Just plan your wedding like you started, and if you can make it to hers, good. If not, it's her fault.
