I think you misunderstand the position of those who want to win the war. The reason is so we can have a lasting peace. We will not have peace if we lose the war like the Dems want to do. The only Democrat that really gets it is Joe Lieberman, and don't forget that he is without a doubt, a liberal. Listen to him carefully so you may understand the threat we are in. It won't go away by sticking our heads in the sand (lest they be cut off).

March, shout, do whatever. Thats why i do what I do. Do I want peace? Of course.
What I don't want is to pull out of Iraq prematurely and then wind up going back in because the people getting ready to protest peace start protesting that some warlord is killing mass people in Iraq and we should intervene.
Lets get the job finnished, let Iraq set up their military and get us the hell out.

I've seen quite a few peace marches. They are nothing like the ones during Vietnam. Mainly because there is no draft. Second,a great many people go there to get their other agendas across, which has nothing to do with the war.

you go ahead and smoke another one with your liberal arts professor and "hope for peace" as you so eloquently put it. And the US Military will bring peace it to your doorstep like so many of the munchie induced pizzas that came before.
Yes the Republicans want peace, even if it means people like you are allowed to do what ever you want in a Country you don't support. We need the Military, we need war it is the only way to show we are tired of getting sand kicked in our faces because we have become a pathetic Liberal breeding ground for the overly politically correct pansies who think that peace will come to them riding on a unicorn. Go sleep it off, get a hair cut and a job.

Peace will never happen. It's a dog eat dog world with everyone competing for supremacy. Anything that you've been told otherwise is a liberal fairytale lie. Don't believe me? Come to Los Angeles where blacks and hispanics are having race wars in the most tribal gang form and everyone's addicted to drugs.

I think everyone wants peace... just people have different ideas of how peace should be achieved and what it means.

Ahh...there we have it...the most inane question of the day.
By your logic, if one doesn't join the hysterical, anti-Bush extremists on the left, he or she can neither be for peace nor a Christian.
It must be tough being the arbiter of all that is good, true and beautiful.
But thanks for sharing!

Your question doesn't anger me. As for peace - we can always hope for it. As for the number of Christians and republicans marching next week... you'll have to ask them to raise their hands so you can count them!

Everyone wants peace, but not everyone is ready to surrender for it. The liberals are wasting time and resources with protest marches that went out with the 1960's.
