My laptop is taking it's time to log off. It's started to take a good hour sometimes. I have had to turn ot off manually before it logs off completely. I totally wiped my hard drive a fortnight ago. Any ideas??

if a full restore of the pc doesnt work, then it may be a hardware fault and being a laptop, its not the easiest thing in the world to fix. i would reccomend taking it back to the place you bought it from, if its still in waranty and ask them to look at it

Hmmm....i would have thought its because you have a lot of stuff in your hard drive but since you've completely wiped it....you may want to try and defragment it through the system tools. If that doesnt work....you may as well reformat your whole computer since you've got nothing on your hard drive. Reformatting it basically returns your comp back to its original factory state.

You need to clean/defragment your hard drive. Also do you run anti-virus and spyware programs regularly? It's easy not to and then you get bogged down.

have you got any software that security scans for bugs etc or any program set up to run at any other time, this might be the reason or as already said defrag your pc .
