Its seems as if they are, but it would be a shame to see them have any power with their totally racist views. However I think the real political forces in this country should sit up and take notice of why they are increasing their popularity. This is a small island which is becoming more and more overcrowded every day. The state of the NHS and our roads pay testiment to this fact. If they fail to take peoples fears into consideration, then people will vote for the BNP to make a point. And if a huge percentage of people make a point, will we have a fourth major political party in this country?

The BNP are a small minority party in the UK and will never be anything else. Only 192,850 voters supported them at the last general election and if they get more than 200,000 at the next one, I would be very surprised.

Unfortunately I think their support will increase a little, but by nowhere near enough to gain a seat. I truly hope that previously non-BNP voters will have the good sense to see their bitter, jingoistic sense of nationalism for what it is and avoid them like the plague.

For those who haven't realised yet - don't betaken in by the over-representation of BNP supporters on this site - they are just using it as a mouthpiece to spread their politics of hate, and massage their own egos.

The BNP are political no hopers. Their ideology and policies offer no hope and they have no hope of ever gaining any real influence in UK politics.

Unfortunately, yes they are. I lay the blame for this at the door of the press, talking up problems with immigration to sell papers without actually thinking about the racial hatred directly resulting from their actions.

I dont think immigrants need deporting, the BNP do. Preferably into the afterlife.

Yes I think they are.

I think people feel very let down by our current political system.

I do NOT advocate racism in any way, but I feel that political correctness has turned into an extreme joke.

People are afraid to say what they think and that drives negative feeling under ground it then resurfaces later as bad feeling and hostility.

The British National Party-or as I call them British Nazi Party are tragically getting more popular.

Something must be done about them soon.

Yes they are getting more popular but instead of people throwing their hands up in horror (remember these peple are netitled to their opinions, even if you dont agree with them!) we should look at why.

I think it is because we are fed up with seeing our goverment hand out money take in extremists and protect them while the lower middle class pay tax poll tax fight for our kids to go to school for christianity to be taught in school and extra help for special needs children as well as those with english as 2nd language. There is lots lots more and many people have every right to be in this country but if I go abroad I obey their law or reigion why should it be different for those who come here

I think they are gaining in popularity because of peoples fear of loss of identity. Europe is to big for us little people to think we matter.

I just not they aren't popular enough yet because I don't know what B. N. P stands for.
