Yes, but have you noticed that men often fall in love/or choose to love their best friends? Therefore it may start innocent, but may start to fall for our friends that are male.
Anytime a woman spends that much time with a man sharing within each other things can happen sooner or later. I happen to know that I could like anyone of my male friends if it came down to that. I think love is a choice so we still have the power to choose rather we want to go there are not with a male friend. Sometimes the friendships are too important to risk and people choose to stay that way.

Let me offer the answer in the other direction.

One of my best friends is a female, and she and I have been friends for nearly 20 years. We met when we were both about 13 years old - long story short, we became penpals because of a mutual disability. Yes, early on, there was a bit of a "crush" factor going on, but nothing more than that.

She is one of my very best friends. She knows things about me that no one else knows. She's been there for me more times than I can count, and I've been there for her many times as well. I will tell you, without hesitation, that I do love her. But no, there are no sexual feelings between us.

It's funny that most the women are saying yes, if you're attractive then nope. It might seem blunt but it's just the way guys are. He might be a friend but definitely not a best friend......or let me put it a different way. You might view him as a friend and not have those feelings for him but he is going to have them for you. Unless of course he's gay, then yes it's possible.

yes .but when you find a boy friend with sexual feelings that boy friend wants to be your best male friend and at this time you'll have some trouble with your boy friend though your best male friend doesn't make problem for you and that boy friend
if you already have not boy friend this question"s answer is yes of course .make sure of the reason that hold you and your male friend the best friend it must be something except sex in your mind and your male friend mind

well to be honest i have been in your shoes. when i was 13 i met this guy who was a little older then me and we was friends ya know talk on the phone and just hang out and stuff, but as i got older and turned 16 i started having feelings for him but he didnt like me in that way cause i was unde age.and then when i became of age he really wanted to be with me and before that time i always told myself that he would come around and realize what he is missing. but anyways we tried it and guess what, it messed up our years of friendship. so if i was you i would relly try not but it seemed the harder you try not the stronger the feelings got. good luck

I agree with pianofritz2. It's not possible for a guy to be friends with a woman without them eventually wanting sex. Unless the guy is not at all attracted to her to begin with. That would be the only way I guess.

Sure, if he's gay. Otherwise no way - sex is the overwhelming driving force in the male-female relationship and expecting a guy to suppress all sexual feelings about you if he likes you is ridiculous.

uhm well if you think hes drop dead gorgeous, and hes got a 6 or 8-pack, killer smile, .. he has the looks and the personality- haha your screwed, youll have feelings for him seomtime or another. However, if you not sexually attracted to him watsoever, but you have a deep friendship connection, it is possible to just remain friends..

Definately! It is very possible, most of my friends are guys and I'm happily married. But, be prepared for outsiders making judgemental comments if you are seen with a guy friend in public or if he comes over to your house.

Yes. Its quite healthy to have both male and female friends. Just because two people of the opposite sex like each others company, doesn't mean they have to or want to jump into bed with each other.
