Im going to New York and its supposed to be the highs of 50/56 degrees, and I have never been up north. [I live in Florida] Do you think wearing a "puffy" jacket and a sweater kind of shirt would e too hott?

Depends. If you are going to be in NYC expect to be walking a lot or in crammed subways which both will make you hot. Bring a cotton turtleneck to wear under your jacket.

Well that "puffy" jacket might be a little hot but what you can do is bring it (just in case it's colder than you thought) you should bring like a few light long sleeve shirt and a few short sleeve...
If ur into skirts and all that bring a long one so ur legs don't get too cold or something...
And bring lots of jeans, they are GREAT for any weather...LOL

no need for puffy jacket, windbreaker or light jacket would be fine, but wear like a sweatshirt or something underneath. w/e dont wear like a skirt, their cute but itll freezing, unless you'll be inside the whole time. have fun and buy lotsa cute stuf

puffy jacket!? hehe, i think it'll be too hot walking in NYC
juz a light jacket woud be enuf i recommend
also wear jeans rather than short lil'skirt :-D

If it is quite cold and quite hot wear jeans, trainers and a T.shirt and a juper with a coat obviously.

I don't think you would b to hot. But I live in Washington and never been anywhere else but Oregon so who am I to know? J.K

i think a light jacker, casual cute sweatshirts and longsleeves and short sleeves. i live in Michigan and we have pretty much the same type of weather here and the snow is melting!
