i saw a movie on t.v. a while ago and i didnt catch the title since i started watching it when it had already started. it's set in a different century (i dont remember which one) and the story line is about this young girl who is very poor and falls in love with a rich guy, but the family disaproves of them being together even though she is friends with the guy's sister. so she becomes a courtesan (prostitue) and later is accused of being a witch because every man that sleeps with her goes crazy for her. and so they make her go to trial and she defends herself by giving this nice speech. and i think at the end they forgive and let her live.
i think this is enough information. if you guys know what the title of this movie is, please let me know. thank you.

NO ITS NOT THE CRUCIBLE. AND PRIDE AND PREJUDICE HAS NOTHING ON IT ABOUT A COURTESAN BEING TRIED AS A WITCH.

I think it's called Dangerous Beauty. Also called The Honest Courtesan. Catherine McCormack, Naomi Watts and Rufus Sewell are in it:

Man you're no help, you know that?

Mention at least one or two of the actors in that movie!

That would help your cause a lot more ya know!

Good luck with your doomed quest!
