There are no direct trains which will allow you to get down at Thane or Dombivli.
You can do the most convenient journey like:
get down at Borivali and take a bus to Thane. There are plentiful of buses. Or you can get down at Dadar and take a train to Thane/Dombivli.
Alternately you can get down at Virar / Vasai ( if your train permits), from Vasai there are 3 shuttles operating between Vasai road and Diva railway station. But your time must match the train time. You can also travel till Bhayander from Virar/ Vasai and take a bus from Bhayander to Thane. You can get down at Mira Road instead Bhayander and take bus to Thane.
Please check up on the times.
