First of all, head to your OB's and have them do a blood test. You will know for certain if you are pregnant or not. Those home tests are usually accurate and even though they call them error proof tests - there's always room for an error.

Second, be sure you are taking your pills when you are supposed to. One a day, every day, and without skipping. Don't take two on one day if you do. Puts the estrogen levels at a higher scale. If you are just new to the pill it does take a few months to really get your body regulated.

If after a negative blood test at the doctors you are still having irregular periods, than I would suggest telling your doctors your scenario, maybe they will need to switch pills for ya. Some women need higher doses of estrogen and some women need lower doses.

Stressing out about things too can 'scare' away your period. So if you're stressing out about being pregnant because you don't want to be, stop now and start relaxing.

Extra physical activities plays a part in ones monthly cycle, pill or not. Athletes have irregular periods all the time. I should know - I was a die-hard athlete.

Take a deep breath chic and start relaxing. Get to the doctors office for your first step, and then you will know where to go from that point.

Good luck.

You could very well be pregnant, or maybe your stopping the pill and restarting it without allowing a periodto come, has messed up your cycle. Sore breast, veiny breast, bloatedness, and nausea are all menstrual symptoms too. So just wait a few days and take another pregnancy test. They say you should wait 14-19 days from the last time you had sex to take a pregnancy test. You could also call your doctor an tell him/her what's going on and they may have you come in for a blood test.

Since you are worried about being pregnant I am assuming you had unprotected sex in that month. A good doctor would have told you not to have unprotected sex the first month because you can still get pregnant.
If you don't have a period by the time you are ready to start a new pack see a dr and have a blood test done to be sure you aren't pregnant as the bc could have adverse affects on the developing fetus.
