The best drum solo recorded in my opinion was "Toad" by Cream
Ginger Baker is exceptional
Best drummer overall is Neil Peart
Listen to Temples of Spyrinx,................again unbelieveable ability

if you have the woodstock dvd, the santana drummer does an intense drum solo...and its absolutely amazing to watch even if you arent a fan of their music. so is the dvd.

well theirs this song that U2 has(this little band ,if you havent heard of it*winkwink*) this song called "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and the drum performance is fantastic!!!

totally debatable depending on ones taste in music. there are many class act drummers and i would like to say keith moon was incredible as is ginger baker in the music world.
