Does anyone know how to get more command points while playing a Skirmish game? I need more!!!!!

Normally command points are associated to a building which gives you income as well. I like elves the most. So when playing them grow melorn tree. Each melorn tree gives a command point of 50 or so. After construction, they start making income and and as this continues, their veterancy will grow and their level increases. They become at most till level three. A level two melorn tree gives more income and more command points compared to a level one melorn tree. So its imparative that you keep these trees safe from enemy raid.

Other than melorn trees, the heros statue and forts also give you additional command points. Different races have different buildings to get C.Ps. Humans have to build farm where as dwarves has to build mines.

And if you are asking how to cross the 1000 C.P factor limit, then just at the place where you select the races and map, you can see another link which has two options...

Initial resources & command point factor.

Here you can have an initial resource of around 4k gold at the start of a skirmish game. And the command point factor will be by default set to 1X. If you set it to 2X your C.P limit will be 2k and if you set it as 3X your C.P limit will be 3k.

How ever always remember that once set, if you make any changes in the race, map or heros, the initial resource and C.P factor option will be both reset to default. Do do it last just before you click the start button.

Just play a the first few part of the good campaign and you will learn everything as there is a good step by step introduction to how to use the units and buildings.
