I dont think anyone would like their mother, daughter or son a porn star, and I dont think porn stars are born....they are made from abusive parents and drugs....I dont believe many people would compromise themselves deliberately....well Paris Hilton is an exception....lol...or she mightnt be...who knows what happened to her as a child for her to have so many loose moral values. Or what about the mother who has to feed her starving kids....sometimes we have to do things others may think as immoral simply to survive.
I guess if we want to be so moralistic we would say prostitutes should all be put in jail. I would hate my mother/daughter/son to bea prostite too, but prostitues do play a role in our society....people can play out their fantasies with them which in some cases can save a marriage or save a victim from rape.
Porn can revive a stale marriage, it can enhance the intimacy between two individuals, and while I honestly would hate my mother/father/daughter/son to be involved in porn, it has been my experience that most people do porn or go into prostitution because of a drug habit usually......the majority of prostitues are there to support their drug habit. I am sure there are exceptions to everything and some young girls will get involved in porn as a stepping stone for something else, believing the promises a particular producer will give them. All we can do as parents is raise our children the best way we know how....we try to instill good solid moral values, but there are some parents who dont give a shite about their kids and its those kids, and Im not saying in every case, but its them who usually end up in these demoralizing careers.
If everyone stopped watching porn what do you think it would achieve....it wouldnt stop the huge drug problem, and they would just find another way to make their money to support their drug habit or lifestyle. Possiby even killing your son in a gang fight to steal his shoes.
Morals are all very well, but sometimes you have to look outside the square you are living in.

Actually that's a very good question. But I can tell you that it's not only men who love pornography. There are plenty of women who like it too. Yes, I am a woman and yes, I do enjoy porn sometimes. Would I want my daughter to be a porn star? Well, no. I want my daughter to go to college and grow up and get married and have 3.5 kids and live happily ever after. And then there's reality. Some people make the CHOICE to be in porn. It's a fact of life. I don't have to want that for myself or my children to be able to enjoy watching other people do what they made the choice to do. Some people say pornography is "wrong," some people love it, and some people just DO it. We all do pornographic things in the privacy of our own homes and if there are people that want to get paid to do it for the rest of the world to see, that's their choice. They're the ones that have to live with the consequences whether they're good ($$) or bad (disease and low self esteem if it's not what they want out of life). It's just part of life.

It's completely understandable that someone would ask these questions because you were obviously hurt or offended by the subject in some way. Perhaps you had a significant other who was into porn and you couldn't get them to see your point of view that you think it is wrong. Some people see nothing wrong at all with porn, but if a person is hurting somebody they love with it, and no matter how much you talk, yell, or otherwise try to get them to see understand that it is not something you are willing to accept, then it is causing huge, often irreversible, problems with your relationship.
It's true, that those women that men drool over are daughters, mothers, wives, etc. Men are fooling themselves to think that they just popped up outta nowhere, and yes, one day it could be your little girl on the screen if you don't instill some genuine values in your children.

I dont think any guy would want their daughter to be a porn star, some might fantasize and think they would want their wife to be one ,but if their fantansy ever came true i think they would find that it didnt suite them as well as they had hoped for. they may become jealous of the attention their wife as a porn star is receiving from other males. I dont think any one would wish their mother was a porn star, cause their mother is unavailable to them.. and they want a porn star to be someone they can look at and dream about having a future with.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I am not going to blow smoke up your a**. I would NOT want to see my niece, sister, daughter etc in a porn movie. I know, and often wonder, when I see porn what those girls will say if somewhere in the future their children, parents and such find them out? How would the kids feel when their class mates wave a DVD of their mom in "a** attack vol III. But the true fact is in America there is a hypocrisy about sex. Sex is a driving force only seconded to money. It is the main catalyst to many movies, sitcoms, musical songs etc. And sex is used to sell you everything from eyeglasses, hair dye, breath mints, burgers, soda etc. If you buy this product, you will be cool and hot and guys/chics will did you, you will get them, and get some nookie. If you are not doing sex at least 3 times a week you are said to be a loser. So these moms, sister, etc are targets of advertiser in a back door fashion. Because if I buy this item I am a "babe magnet" who are these babes? Someone else's mother, sister, daughter etc. The hypocrisy of sex in America is when you start mating it with money devoid of what is suppose to be romantic feelings.

I am a woman, and I have a daughter. No, I would not want her to be a porn star. I plan on raising her differently than that. However, porn stars CHOOSE to do that line of work. Some of them have different values than you, and how they choose to earn their money is their choice. I also have no problem with porn in the proper context. For example, my husband and I enjoy a porn together now and then. It is for our mutal pleasure, and since the stars in the porn films werent held by gunpoint and forced to act in them, what is wrong with that? I disagree with porn if it is abused. For example, if a man is indulging in pornography and depriving his wife of the attention and love she needs, it is wrong. But if the man is single, or married with an open wife, and the women in the porn choose to put themselves in it, then its a sexual and personal experience by willing parties. If no laws are broken, and no one's rights are violated, then what is wrong with that? It sounds to me like you have a man who is choosing a magazine and his hand over you. Your own sex life has to be worked out, and you cannot condemn the entire porn industry just because some men are selfish.

no doubt porn hurts innocent people. Look at ted Bundy he said that porn was what fueled his obsession. Countless women and gurls paid with their lives and countless lives were ruined and affected Ultimately he paid with his life.
It is not harmless entertainment..It is a sad billion dollar industry.
But it they had no customer or demand it would die.
Same as drugs.. Addiction in any form destoys that which is beautiful and precious. As a woman porn makes my skin crawl. I wouldnt want a man in my life if he viewed such. I would consider him being unfaithful. But each to his own as long as the dont harm others.
But innocent children and women are harmed by porn.

WOW, we have the question of our daughters and our mamas of our children and our own mamas. Well then, maybe I can answer some of these tricky things for you. Mama of my children . . . I KNOW who is the mother of my children, I knew WHO SHE WAS BEFORE she became pregnant with my children. My father knew who my mother was BEFORE she became pregnant with me OR any of my siblings, and if I did have any daughters I would hope that she would follow the example of her mother and not get involved in such things. As far as YOU go, if YOU have a problem with men liking porn, maybe it's because of your OWN insecurities in witch case I would recommend watching some, you may learn enough to satisfy your man so he need not go else where to be satisfied. You think about it now.

First of all, let's refer to it as erotica, shall we?
"Porn" is such a pejorative term, and I prefer to reserve that label for the cheaper, poorer quality stuff.
OK...so what is so wrong or evil about literature or video that arouses people?
Arousal is a natural human function.
Would I want my daughter to star in adult films?
I don't have a daughter - I have a son, so I don't know if my feelings/opinons will suit you.
I'm not going to speak hypothetically as if I HAD a daughter.
If my son were employed in the adult industry, I would only wish that he use protection, so he doesn't contract a fatal STD.
Otherwise, I couldn't care less.
Sex is a wonderful thing, and the visual depiction of it is not evil.
