In terms of fashion? Argentina tends to go along with European fashion. Both women and men in Buenos Aires always look cosmopolitan and very put together.
In terms of popular things to do? It's varied. The nightlife is like most large cities. They don't tend to eat dinner until 9 or 10 at night and usually go to the clubs around 2am, not getting home until well after the sun is up.
In terms of places? Buenos Aires is huge. Mar de Plata is a big beach vacation place in January. Cordoba is a big university town. Bariloche is the best place for skiing in July/August.
In terms of production? Beef is one of the largest industries in Argentina and they have some of the most delicious carne ever! They also have some great wine made around Mendoza.
