Breastfeeding does NOT cause the drooping. Pregnancy hormones and changes leading UP TO lactation are what do it. If you give birth, and your breasts begin to make milk, whether you actually FEED the baby your milk or not, you have just lactated, and therefore your breasts will probably never be the same. Breastfeeding itself is not the cause.

When your finished breast feeding there is a great exercise for this. Lay on your back with your arms straight out on each side, slowly raise them to where your hands can clap. Use natural resistance at first and add some barbells later. This will strength the side muscles on you breasts and keep them from sagging.

I agree with the first answer, you need to wear a bra through pregnancy and nursing. The sagging really doesn't come from breast feeding, but from letting your now larger boobs have freedom. They sag from the weight unless they are hoisted up in a bra. Even a comfy sports bra at night will help alot... good luck!

It is not caused by breastfeeding, it is caused by pregnancy hormones.

I rarely wear a bra and have breastfed for 5 years out of the last 10 and have a perky B-cup!

Wear a bra all the time. Even to bed, just look for one without an underwire. Sports bras are great for nighttime. If you are still breastfeeding many companies make nursing bras without an underwire.
