That all depends on your cycle.

If your cycle is 28 days (from start of one period to start of next period) then you would ovulate between days 13 and 15.

You can pinpoint ovulation by measuring you basal body temperature from the first day of one period to the first day of the next. You will notice a spike around the day you would ovulate. (I would suggest mesuring this for a few months before trying to concieve)

If you want to get pregnant you would want to have sex no more than 1 day before this time frame and no more than 1 day after because sperm only lives in the female body for 3-4 days.
(The egg is only viable for 3-4 days after ovulation).

Hope this is helpful!

14 days BEFORE your NEXT period. If you buy 'always' towels it has this printed on the packets! :)
The way you work out when you are fertile is by taking 14 away from the number of days your cycle is long. So for example if your cycle was regularly 30 days long (from day one of your period to next period) then the sum would be
30 - 14 = 16. This indicates you ovulate at about day 16 each month. You should try to have intercourse up to 5 days prior to this (as sperm can live for 5 days on your body), during and two days following, as the egg has a life span of 48 hours approx. If you look on the babycentre web site they have an online calculater that lets you type in your dates and it will tell you all your fertile dates for up to 3 months in advance!
Good luck!

Hi I have a little microscope about the size of a lipstick, you put saliva on to it, wait five minutes and look into it, you will see a pattern that looks like ferns ( as in the plant) this tells you that you are ovulating, and the right time to try and get pregnant. I got mine off the internet.!!!! Its called "Maybe baby" Worked for me Best of Luck!!!!!!!!

Women ovulate 10-15 days BEFORE a period is due. Even if you haev irregular cycles, THIS part of your cycle will ALWAYS be the same length.
Try an OPK or google Basal Body Temperature.

day 12 to 14 from start date! Some within 10! Start trying on the 10 day after start, and keep up for a week, so 10 to 19 days after starting! That way you hit it!

Around 15 days after the first day of your period is when you are most fertile. Increase your chances by having sex a few days before and a few days after too. Good luck and have fun!

About 5-7 days after you've stopped bleeding.

You can get clear blue ovulation strips that can tel you when you're ovulating so it might be worth picking them up.

Good luck

It depends on the length of your cycle.

Try this ovulation calculator: http://www.ovulation-calculator.com/

Some women can feel themselves ovulating. I do. The only way I can describe is as slight cramping and discomfort midway through your cycle...if you experience that, get busy!!

a test would confirm this for you. but meanwhile, between the 14th and the 20th days are more reliable ;though depending on your cycle.
