True Romance is probably my favourite film, just wondering who else loves it?

Yes! It is one of my all time faves! I've had it on video for ages, keep meaning to buy the dvd, and I have the soundtrack on cd coz I love that too. Great cast list, Brad Pitt's so funny in it - have watched it like a zillion times!

True Romance has a lot going for it. The cast was about perfect, the soundtrack really appropriate, the storyline was pretty fresh, and there was something for most everyone (over the age of 16).
Alas, I've seen so many good movies I couldn't say it was my favorite. I can't say I have a favorite. I couldn't even narrow it down through genres or sub-genres. Maybe if it were a question of sub-genre and year of release I could take a position.
Another strange romance film is "Wild At Heart" with Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern. And then there's "Wilder Napalm" with Dennis Quaid and Debra Winger. Oh, "Natural-Born Killers" probably falls into this category, too.
A couple of other slightly less off-beat movies with a bit of romance and violence would be "Blood Simple" and "Red Rock West".
I own all these titles on DVD, including the regular and special versions of "True Romance". (which, in turn, turned me onto Sonny Chiba movies)

genuine Romance, because it has more suitable classic scenes than NBK. also, i visit observe genuine Romance without feeling nauseous, no longer like the feeling that i'm getting from NBK's undesirable-acid-fry-like digicam artwork and continually transferring filmstock and modifying type. now to not say that NBK isnt marvelous-it truly is! It only doesnt truly upward thrust up to different viewings. And From nightfall until eventually sunrise rocks balls! A classic! the first one in reality inspite of the truth that. pass the sequels, they blow ***.
