my computer won't allow limewire to connect to the internet becuase of firewalls and all that stuff, and i need to download some songs. Does anyone know any other music sites that is free to download and free to install on computer like limewire???

But any software you get will be the same because of the firewall.
All you have to do is go to the firewall settings and allow the port that limewire uses. You can find the port in limewire's options. Also, you can change the port number to another that your firewall will allow, like 8080.

if i were you i wouldn't get non. i got a virus and it busted up my computer really badly and i had to pay up to $250 to fix...i havn't downloaded limewire or anything like that since then.

You might try "Ares" although the same firewall issues may affect it also.
