In other words you can get down there the night before and check in, so all you have to do the next day is go through to departures...less chance of her spotting you

I dont think the airline would get involved and if she wanted to stop you she should go to a court, as long as you have her passport she has nothing stopping you going

In the UK you do not get custody just parental responsibility which means mum and dad both have a say so in there lives....but one has residence but it does not necessary mean they have more of a say

She can not stop you, I just hope you already have th passport so she does not hold that as ransom (I have had that done to us with my step children we had to pay the mother money to hand the passport over, and they lived with us)

I have to agree with a combination of everybody here!
First go and get written permission from the mother,then don't tell her when you are going if that's possible (might not be due to circumstances-arrangements etc) at least give her a different (later) time you are going,then depending if you are travelling with Virgin(the one most people go to Florida with) do the twighlight check-in.
The main thing is to get written permission though-without it you could be screwed!
