At 36 weeks, he is probably where he needs to be! In the next two, you will see he will drop! He is not ready to come yet, so as it gets closer to due date, he will drop! You still haveover a month to go! You will see him drop soon! Walking may help!

It's out of your hands. That baby will drop when he wants. Also, when he drops doesn't really have anything to do with when he'll be born.

Remember the lungs develop last...I know the last 4 weeks of pregnancy SUCK (I have gone through 2)...but I don't recommend doing anything to induce labor unless your doctor feels it's necessary.

Sometimes babies drop very little till the last minute.
If the doc says everything is ok, then maybe take walks, the exercise will be beneficial to you both.
The doc will want to see you if you havent dropped much in the next week or so though. Just to be sure.

Just being active helps, walking, dancing, etc.

The baby will drop when he/she is ready. I know that the wait can be very long, especially the last few weeks.

Good Luck and Congratulations :)

I'm 38 weeks and mine hasnt dropped at all. He will drop on his own, you wouldnt want to risk trying to make him drop and throwing yourself into pre-term labor. 37weeks is when the baby is considered full term and has more of a chance of surviving outside the womb. but i have heard that Ice on top of your tummy betwen chest and the top of your stomache could help...don't know but you could try, he wouldnt like the cold and try to creep down.

WALK WALK WALK!!!!
This seemed to work for my aunt who had her son about 8 months ago.

If you really are concerned ask your doctor but even at 36 weeks you really aren't "late" yet.

That baby will come when it is good and ready to come.

GL with your new baby!

you're only 36 weeks, relax....the longer the baby is in there, the better off baby is. don't try to rush things along, ESPECIALLY since it's your first pregnancy. i know you're uncomfortable and you want it to be over, but you have to think about the baby first. good luck!!

Walk as much as you can, this is what my OB doctor told me towards the end of my pregnancy.

Honey, babies come when they are ready, and don't try to rush things. Try to rest and relax, because very soon you won't have time to think much less anything else, so take advantage of it now.
