Whats so great about it?? I saw it and was bored out of my mind. I mean it would make a good movie, but the MUSICAL part got to me. Even a lot of adults and highschoolers like it. I dont get it.

Ugggh I know what you mean. I'm a teenager so I saw it, of course, cuz my friends INSISTED that i must. I liked it okay, and the songs were catchy, but it was corny and usually the stuff my friends and i'd make fun of mercilessly. so ive concluded tht it proves tht guys arent all big headed even if they r popular and bitchy girls arent always going to get the guy and the good ones will. blahblah.. as if tht is true most of the time! well america needs a good "hero" sort of movie so i guess this symbolized teenager's

I'm 25 and liked the film, sad I know but I am a big kid at heart and like my disney films. I think why the film has done so well is because it well scripted, some pretty cool lighthearted tunes and suppose a bit like a fairytale story. This is a good film to watch if you just want to sit back relax and get away from everyday stresses of life. I suppose this is why disney does so well because it has that magical touch to its films that takes us away from everyday reality and wouldn't everyone like a fairytale ending, for sure it would make life simplier x

To be honest, I hate the stupid thing, the songs are so annoying and the worst part is the day after you see it, all the idiots at school will be singing those stupid songs totally off key.That musical sucked bigtime. I'm with you I don't get it either.

Because...mainstream, is disease. If you don't know what mainstream is and how everyone blindly follows it then your judgement of what is cool is tied to the masses opinon. It has been quite conclusively shown large amounts of regular ppl usually are not that bright. So basically follow the masses=mainstream= bad judgement of things that are cool.

i don't like it. as a matter of fact, i HATE it. i'm in middle school, and as far as i am concerned, most people my age find it annoying. not all, but most.
