NO!!!! Rabbits are Herbivores! Plants and nuts only!!! Feed your rabbit an alfalfa based pellet diet and Timothy Hay. Nuts and treats VERY sparingly. Rabbits can also have greens and fruits in small amounts, but some are harmful to them.
When in doubt, leave it out. The pellet and hay diet is easy to follow and is safe for the rabbit.
Your vet or a rabbit website can give you a list of "safe" foods for your rabbit if you really feel the need to feed beyond prepared foods.

Had to answer this as we have almost the same handle.....don't let them think Ellie is a stupid name!! it is indeed a stupid question, think about rabbits in the wild.......grass, grass and more grass. Think about Beatrix Potters books, Peter Rabbit and Mr MacGregor....Peter stealing carrots and cabbages from the garden!!! No meat to be seen!

Nope they are herbivores.
It's not a stupid question if you honestly didn't know the answer. It's always best to ask if your not sure whether your giving your pet the correct diet.
