yeah, go ahead and open it. Once you get cold, close the window. Then open your bedroom door again, so that the room won't stay too cold for too long. I was doing this just yesterday. It felt great!

sure it is! you can just "crack" the window a little bit, by opening an inch or so, and leave it open all the time. or you can open it quite a bit for a few minutes. opening the windows in the winter is good. it gets fresh air in and stale air out. just make sure that if your window is open and the room gets uncomfortably cold. if that happens, close the window a little more till you can have it open a bit and still maintain a nice temp. in the room.

Since this is the Home and Garden section I would need to ask what plants are you nuturing ?
New plants don't do well in direct sunlight they sunburn easy so just be certain to leave them in away from the sunlight at the opening from the door.
Its a ways off before the third day after the new moon of June so don't feel you're in too much of a hurry to climatize food plants yet.

you should keep two windows open in your basement one one on either side . a house inspector told me that . he said that is the best thing for preventing mold . and providing enough fresh air for the furnace if it got messed up.
i leave my bedroom window open some all the time except if the snow is really blowing in then i close it .
new homes are to tightly sealed up and the lung assoc. of canada says this is a link to the increase in the number of children with asthma. we have to have fresh air all the time

You can leave it open until it gets cold. But maybe you like it that way. If it's open just a crack, it will take quite a while to get cold. I'm glad spring is almost here!

I see no problem with it. Just keep your window open until you have enough fresh air and the house is still warm.

Geez, yeah. If you have birds, put them out of the way of the breezes. At almost 5o you can leave it open all day, just watch out for rain or pets.
Great time of year because most of the bugs aren't out arond here. My door is wide open right now!

Yes, you can leave it open for a little bit. You can also make your very own decisions concerning the rest.

unless you're in a nuclear fallout shelter, or you're a lizard - i think you'll be alright. your human skin is meant to withstand the cold and your metabolism speeds up to regulate body temp. so leave it open until you're too cold to stand it.
