A friend of mine is immigrating to Australia in melbourne in a town called Mulgrave, and needs the website address where she can find out info for optaining a drivers license in Australia, she already holds a british license but is unsure if it will cover her there. Does anyone know the website? Thanks.

Tell them to go to http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home Theyare the ones in charge of licencing, car registration etc in victoria

She will be able to obtain an international drivers license for Australia for a short period of time. then she will need to visit a VICROADS office and may need to take a brief test, but the office locations are listed on the website and so are the licesing conditions
