Have you ever been a 1cm and 70 % effaced and if so how long was it till your labor kicked in or water breaking.

I was like that for about 2 weeks before they induced me completely. Good luck, it'll be soon! :)

i was like that for about a week and a half, then the doctor "stripped my membranes" and i had my baby 2 days later. if you're past your due date or the baby is going to be very big, then your doctor can stip your membranes and try to naturally induce labor before having to put you on medicine to induce the labor. just pay more attention to your stomach and any contractions that you're feeling and try taking a walk, even if it's just to the corner store...the exercise will help bring on labor. it'll all be over very soon!! congrats!! :)

I was dilated at 1cm for two weeks and then started having regular contractions at 40 weeks.
However for me, dilation stopped at 1.5cm so they induced to get me going.
Labor is the unknown, you never really know until it happens.
