have microsoft improved the xbox 360 since it was launched?

i have seen alot of videos saying that alot of 360's were breaking down when they were launched . Three lights come on the power button. Have microsoft worked on this and improved the quality and does this still happen? I think this was happening because they were rushed on geeting on sale

Don't listen to the spammer.. lol.

I'm not positive but all my friends who bought xbox 360s recently don't complain about it not working. I bought mine 1/1/06 so it wasn't too good. They should have it worked out soon.
