Oh my god, Neo is the only one with some brain here...
There is an effect called octave shift, or octaver, and so on, that produces a note one or two octaves lower than what you play, or one higher. Different manufacturers offer different features, and I liked only the Boss's effect. Then there's a device called harmonizer that can be set to play intervals to your original note. Now you can set it to reproduce a fixed interval, then kill the original guitar sound in the output completely and amplify only the harmonizer's output, and get what you're asking. However, it won't sound completely natural like a down-tuned guitar would.

Yeah, see, when you turn the little knobs on the head of the guitar clockwise, then the guitar sounds down-tuned.

(Answer to Vampire Heart's question above)
Because it costs money to buy new strings, and you may be unsure of which tuning you want. And also, standard strings aren't able to downtune past a C, and even then your tone sounds like mud... I would love to find a pedal to retuen my standard strings to B.

yeah, there are different petals for electric guitars that will give it different sounds. there are alot of choices but the best idea if you dont know what to look for is to search up your favorite band on wikipedia and if they show their music equipment you can see what petals they use. helps out on knowing what sound you like out of your guitar.
