Hard to pick the best between 2001, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, Clockwork Orange, and Dr. Strangelove. They are all masterpieces in their own, and often different ways.

The one I think he took most pleasure in was Barry Lyndon. He put more work into that picture than all the rest.
