What if it meant that Mecca would be destroyed? Do you think they would like the trade off? I mean the world trade center was symbol of western capitalism. Mecca is a sybmol of Islam. I think a time will come when we need to play hardball with these Jihadists. Because right now, there is nothing to deter them from their desire to attack us again. And it's not a matter of if but when...It doesn't matter if we have a republican or democtratic president or what our policies are as long as we are infidels we are a target. They have their agenda and they started the war a long time ago. It's gonna be a very long war unless we take drastic measures to put an end to it. I know it sounds extreme and most Muslims are good people but so were the people they attacked in the name of Islam on 9-11 in the US and on 7-11 in London and on 3-11 in Spain.

No you have it completely wrong. The muslims who did the terrorists acts were never good people. No sane and normal person would resort to that type of violence. Right now we are war with terrrorits who claim to be Muslim. If you attack Mecca, then you would be attacking the Saudia Arabians, and then it would create a huge problem. First you can say goodbye to oil and second an attack on Saudia Arabia like that will cause the world to turn against us. Remember we are not fighting a country, rather groups of individuals who are using guerrilla warfare tactics. If you read history or even to help you out, if you ever watched the movie Patriot, you would see that the militia used guerrilla warfare tactics against the british. This was costly to the British because they were not fighting an army rather civilians. Same thing is going on Iraq right now. So attacking mecca which is Saudia Arabia will only cause more problems internationally.

Seriously - if we were really interested in stopping another 9/11 from happening, the Bush Administration would have leveled Mecca to nothing by dust and crumble on 9/12, destroyed Al Qeada forever and dismantled the Taliban from top to bottom by the end of week.
Think about it, though - if we did exact the revenge for 9/11 from the Saudis like we should, our nation would come to a screeching and disasterous halt.

Because while I and anyone who has read the Koran and the Hadiths know your insinuation that the issue is Islam rather than "radical" Islam is correct, and while we can't keep playing by the rules we've been playing by, we also have to maintain the clear moral higher ground. Not that the rest of the world cares but we do. So should we bug the radical mosques? You bet. Should we bug all of them? Maybe. But until the people listening in hear "ok I have the truck, you have the gasoline, and Abu has the fertilizer, let's all meet in front of the barracks at o-three-hundred" we cannot just start killing them.

I type this while wearing a tee shirt with the crescent and star crossed out - I understand your feeling and I agree with you in large part but we can't do what you propose. Monitor them? Of COURSE, just like we monitor the Klan. But like we have to wait for the Klan to organize an attack on Blacks to go in and arrest them, we have to wait for the Islamists to organize an attack on Infidels to go in and arrest them.

Wait a minute !! you are so quick to decide the fate of all the muslims !! Why generalization is soo common in this world? thats surprises me alot......All the muslims are not terrorists on first place......and secondly even muslims hate those terrorists who cliam to be muslims and killing innocents peoples around the world........Man i m big example of it...i m a muslim and i have spoken in all grounds against those terrorists.....Each and every musims who has some insight of islam hates those terrorists ! Did you get the point?

Now comming to 9/11, 7/7 etc.........9/11 killed 3000 peoples including many muslims as well........and still this is controversial issue as there are proves that it was not a job muslims !

these are not islamic sites...but anyway.........7/7 killed 54 peoples.don't know about spain...so say, it makes 3054 peoples or above this.........Okay? Do you know that as a result of that muslims are now the victims of mass killing in the world this time??.......Iraq And Afghanistan togather accounts for 67% of deaths in the world this time. Can you imagine this?? you lost only twin towers with 3000 peoples..........while you have destroyed two countries with millions of peoples in it.....I remeber only Iraqi figure which is 650,000 !!! thats a grand example of accusing the "vistims' for the crime !

And man if you are not satisfied even yet, Go ahead and wipe out all the muslim community from the world with mecca and live in peace !!

Good luck for that !

I believe that the only way to prevent these types of attacks is to stop the war against Iraq and the threatens against Iran. I believe that the American civiization is falling apart because of its foul intervention. In other words, why does America have to stick its nose into external issues while the capitol of corruption is AMERICA. No offense, but until America looks itself into the mirror and say: we have got to change ourselves and stop accusing people of getting Uranium for neuclaer weapons....I dont think the war is gonna end. the 911 is the act of non-democratic behavior and constant threat. Muslim people are good and most importantly peaceful, but Bush accuses us as a threat to the world, and an enemy, and Rice is planning a new Middle East?? Just leave everyone to their own business and don't try to act like Superman...you're not competant for the responsibilty (i mean America and its allies)

that's not on floor 0, yet i think of that's nevertheless thoughtless. i think of because of the fact absolutely everyone seems to be making this variety of super deal, that people who like it geared up is digging of their heals. The mosque became think to deliver Muslims and Westerners at the same time. in the event that they have been certainly listening, they could comprehend the mosque has failed that's objective for being geared up there. The Govenor even referred to as them adn they don't opt to even talk the region. Tolerance require mutual understand, and the actuality those development the mosque refuse to speak approximately it, shows a loss of willingness. with a bit of luck they'll cool down while issues simmer down and start up speaking.

have you noticed the pattern of dates? they skipped 5-11 who do you think will be attacked this May?
Ah, who am I kidding they already want to attack us, lol.
They don't care about Mecca or any other holy sacrament, they are purely about terror and power.
We've always been the target and will continue to be so.

The Decider says we're fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here, but then,in the next breath, tells us its a matter of when, not if.

So,if we're fighting them over there to keep from fighting them here but we can't really stop another attack, what the hell are we over there for?
