It was called Barney if I remember rightly and the main character was an Old English Sheepdog or Dulux dog (who the program was named after) and it was around in England during the early 90s/during the 80s.

I can't find ANY information about him online and I've just answered another user's question asking about a cartoon with a Dulux dog and a mouse.

Sarah, what made me think of it was another person asking about a Dulux dog and a mouse in a cartoon. I watched it a couple of times in my first year of primary school and I can - annoyingly! - hear the theme tune in my mind right now!

It does exist!

Oddly, I was trying to descibe it to someone the other day and they couldn't remember it. Think they thought I was making it up!
That makes us both sane and right!
