thats true to an extent. I wouldn't say they spend their whole lives trying.
I think a woman spends more time and money to try to out do the next woman. Trying to out dress her, trying to make her self prettier than the next.
A lot of women these days don't seem to understand the simplicity of a man and that it really doesn't take a lot to attract a man..
I think its a little ridiculous that some women go to the extremes, but if they are that insecure, to get so dressed up and put on so much make up to make themselves out to be somthing they are not, then they are just fooling themselves and are going to have a harder time landing a man.. Don't get me wrong, they will probably get many men to "sleep" with them, but girls like that don't know how to keep a mans heart happy.

I can't comment on the women you are talking about, but my own
opinion is the mature woman was brought up to groom herself and to look after herself. What beauties they are, "Thank God".As I said earlier the women you are probably talking about, have tattoo's all over the show, bellies hanging out all over the place, piercings Yeh great ain't it, what they gonna look like in 20/30yrs time. Some of them look about 50 already.Apart from that it's actually nature, for the female to attract the male,it's the same in the animal world or had you forgot.

Because 'they want that attention,' maybe!

There is within that attention some thing that they want / need and or perceive as being vital to them. They / We read into it what we want to and maybe only later check to see if that vital thing was present, and whether that initial reading was a validated by the subsequent results.

A woman I know of is 63, and she still dresses to 'please the eye of the onlooker,' though I also know for a fact that she has not been touched sexually for at least the last 5 years ~ in spite of various offers having been made to her.

Have you ever thought about all the things men do to attract a woman? Shave, get up and go to a job, buy cars, try to become wealthy and powerful....all to attract women. Personally, I'd rather just shop.

The world still centers around men economically, politically, and even in terms of healthcare. Women try to attact men, men try to impress other men. The point of making ourself look good is to make other people desire us or desire something we have. Guys go to the gym, shave, get an impressive-looking car, expensive flashy gadgets, some of them want to attract the opposite sex too.
