To the man u fans.. you ain't won a thing yet in four years when we've won the premiership and the cup. your've just been lucky this year , not a lot of injuries, if you win anything this year savour it because it'll be your last.
manc lass... your'd be gutted to lose to us? well be gutted then , you got done twice this year by us!

Its obvious the rivarly is still there, but its not the same as it used to be. Arsenal havent been able to challenge for the title, which allows Utd to climb the table. If Arsenal and Manchester United were close by points then it would become a rivalry because every points counts, although on the otherhand there is still a huge rivalry between United & Liverpool due to the local fans.
It is safe to say that the rivarly is still there, but it isnt the same as in the 90's when Arsenal were a 'class' team who were challenging for the title. If Arsenal were to become huge challengers next year, the rivaly will suddenly grow once again!

I think rivalry depends on the result you deliver and if you are playing to win the title.
Arsenal are no longer a team to fear as they no longer fight for the premiership title. Since Chelsea are the only team to fear the most the rivalry has gone on the other side.
Thanx!

Its only gone because Arsenal are no longer a good football team. If Arsenal could challenge for anything then it would be still back on.

it is definitely still there. the only reason it is not as much this season is because arsenal aren't a threat. I'd be gutted to lose to them and would never hear the end of it from arsenal fans i know.

It never really existed anyway, it was just a newspaper thing. A few scuffles on the pitch in a couple of matches doesn't make a long-term "rivalry".

no,i think it will allways be there arsenal and man utd go through spells of hating one another, but compared to liverpool and man utd,who allways hate each other,it has gone a little tame over the last two years.

yer, arsenal are no longer the top club that can challenge united, so there isn't really any rivalry.
