Nope, my dad use to say women couldn't do the lifting yet wanted the same pay.
You're right, they are whiners and crybabies.
As far as injured men, the "potential" is there, but never with injured women who never had the "pontential" from the beginning.
Speaking of "potential".....

Life isn't fair and that's the first thing everyone needs to learn. The day I hear people walking down the streets insisting that women be required to register with Selective Services as men are in case of a military crisis, then that is the day everything can be fair . Fair is fair and that means everything, not just the good subjects. Although men and women may have the same jobs, the simply function different at them. Would you rather have a women clean your house or a man? Would you rather have a man build a fence or a women?

Women still make on average less on the dollar than men do.
Yes, it is not appropriate for anyone who cannot lift a heavy object to be in a job wherein heavy lifting is the bulk of the work. The same should be applicable to a man who got injured.

In some companies the male can actually be fired or at least written up if he doesn't lift the box for the female. Equal pay should be for equal work not "just sort of" just because a person can't actually do it.

The concept of "equal pay" means that people get paid the same for doing the same job, regardless of race or gender.
"Equal pay" doesn't apply if the people are doing different jobs.
And if you volunteer to do someone else's work, whether its lifting boxes or filing forms, then that's your choice. People don't get paid for volunteer work.

Equal pay for women does indeed refer to equal pay for equal work.
Lifting certain boxes is very easy for a man with a certain build, so I guess that shouldn't pay as much as say, labwork that requires knowledge of chemistry and aseptic technique, right?
What about male and female cashiers at Wal-Mart, should they be paid the same?
What about male and female bus drivers?
What about male and female cops and firefighters?

I agree. If a woman cannot do the same job as the man then she should be doing something else. If the men help other men just as much as they help the women then that would still be equal. Equality is equality. period.
