He is dead. I have always loved him. The first is more correct. (The word "toujours" or always has been abbreviated.)

Je l'ai toujours aime.... is right

correct the second phrase like so:

je l'aimerais toujours (add the er)
It's the difference between "I always loved him" and "I will always love him",,,
