I'm sorry, but as a mother, there are no words that can comfort you at this time.
I'm so sorry for your loss and cry just thinking about how you feel right now. I have never lost a child but the thought of something happening to my son scares me terribly.
Yor are in my prayers. E-mail me if you like.

My heart goes out to you. I don't have children but I have friends who do and who have lost them, too... some of the hardest experiences we face have no "Why", really...
I don't think, though, that you should look at it as "Bad people living"- Many many people are alive who have done things that are 'worthy' (but who's to decide that?) of death and many many good people die. Life and natural 'blessings' are not necessarily a sign of approval, nor is the opposite (a child's death, poverty, hardships) punishment or a sign of God's disapproval. It is just 'life' which is a risky matter to begin with. When a pure little child dies, he doesn't leave any uncleanness behind (I really don't know how to say this, just that the child has been pure and can leave no bad behind, nothing that is not beautiful). Maybe we can learn things from the experience and it can have a lasting impact for good- in us and in others. Maybe this can become part of the 'Why'. And, if we are better because of it (in 5 years, 10 years- maybe a long time down the road), we can find our 'Why'.
I'm really sorry- I hope you can find comfort for your loss... I have a feeling it will take time...

May I offer you my deepest condolensces on the loss of your precious child. I don't have an answer for you as to why your child has died. I can however offer you a prayer that God guide you toward the answers you seek. I will also pray that your burden be lightened as you go day by day looking for the strength to accept what you cannot change. Just please don't give in or up! Believe that God will see you through this. You will see your child again around the throne of God. May the Lord Bless and Keep You from harm and from constant grief. I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus! Amen!

First, I am sorry for your loss. I totally understand what you are going through.
I am not much of a religious person, although I have quite an interest in many philosophies of the world. When I lost my child, I came to a few conclusions based off some current religions:
It was his time; "God" wanted him to return to his flock of angels; he possibly needed to have a physical body for a short time in order to achieve perfection in the "celestial kingdom"; it was not meant for him to experience the cruelness of this world; he is in a better place without disease, death, poverty, hunger, etc...
Although things are hard for you now, they will get better for you with time- you will always have your child in your heart (and the memories, too). And remember, even though they are not physically with you, they are always a short nap, flip through a picture book, or looking at a keepsake away.
May you find love and peace within yourself soon.

Ecclesiastes 9:11- "I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all"
Ecclesiastes 7:1 "A name is better than good oil, and the day of death than the day of one’s being born. 2 Better is it to go to the house of mourning than to go to the banquet house, because that is the end of all mankind; and the one alive should take [it] to his heart. 3 Better is vexation than laughter, for by the crossness of the face the heart becomes better. 4 The heart of the wise ones is in the house of mourning, but the heart of the stupid ones is in the house of rejoicing"
