how can I get rid of the muslce and get thin legs? i need some muscle obviously but not bulk. I run alot and am going to be modeling this summer and need to losea few pounds. im 5'6, 127 pounds. ...help. i wanna lose 9 pounds.

Genetics determines a lot of this. You have some choices:

1. Pilates and dance to elongate the leg.
2. Rowing, works upper body and is aerobic
3. Yoga
4. You may just have big legs--a lot of our physical type is predetermined (ectomorphs are slender and long, endomorphs have thicker bodies--there is only so much you can do. If you aren't the Kate Moss type, then be a face model or seek a different career.)

I recommend lower intensity exercise such as brisk walking. If you are running up hills and really getting a good work out you are just going to keep building muscle. I like to hike and cycle a lot but still have what I would call thin legs. I never do any squats and very little running.

If you use weights you may want to lower the LBS. a bit. If you are doing a lot of running try some other form of cardio that limits your leg use.

Do more reps when lifting and less weight...

they get bulky cause you are working them out, so they get tighten... thats all that is...
