Use a sponge when applying foundation. If you have acne I suggest Mary Kay's Med. Coverage foundation. It absorbs additional oils and it also is non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores). As far as the shade, this is not an easy question without seeing your actual skin tone up close. You can locate a local Mary Kay beauty consultant who will come to you (at no charge) and she will teach you everything about skin care and color you need to know. At that time she will also set you up with the foundation shade that is perfect to you.
As far as blush goes, if your skin is very light, I imagine a very neutral color will look great (a very slight brownish pink). This is also where having a Mary Kay consultant is great because she can design a signature look for you (still at no charge) and also teach you the correct application.
Well, I hope this helps. If you would like to locate a consultant near you, go to http://www.marykay.com

Don't use liquid foundation on your skin it will clog up your pores, which will be terrible for your acne. In fact, i wouldn't even use foundation if you have acne, just stick to the basics - concealer (pat on) and powder. Yes a little blush is fine, but don't overdo it. A pinky colour for your light skin would look good.
For eyeshadow, if you have light skin then use pastel colours like whites, creams, med. browns, and rosey pinks. Gold eyeshadow always looks good, no matter what skin colour. I have spotted one in Boots (No7 brand) that is called Golden Leaf, its 6.50.

Your best wager is to seek for a water-based liquid beginning. a number of attractiveness and skin care agencies lead them to. Neutrogena has a number of, however the colors in many circumstances do not tournament epidermis shade. Almay has probable the best, as they have been the 1st on the marketplace. I used Almay beginning whilst i became into in college. There are mineral powder foundations, bare Esscentuals became into the 1st actual, that are meant to be ok for pimples epidermis, yet i haven't had any own adventure with them.

i wouldnt recommend putting foundation on if you have acne. If you do, though, try to find one with salycilic acid or benzoyl peroxide, or one that doenst clog your pores if you can. i have found that bare escentials doesnt make you break out even more too!

i dont think you should put make up and foundation on your face because its gets into your pores and makes it worse.but if you need to wear it you should wash your face good when you get to your house and you dont need make up on anymore.Wash at least 3x a day.
