He might not be the best singer out there, i personally feel the backup singer lady is the best, but cmon Sanjaya will get all the Indian votes (there r a lotta Indians in America) since hes half Indian. And that means he could be the next American Idol.

hey the truth is Sanjaya has definately got the granny vote if you know what i mean! But the thing is he is sweet and does have talent but i do think that he needs more experience. it did upset me when sundance got out though so no disrespect but he is surrounded by great singers and he won't last much longer!!!!!!!!!

Bigger than the Indian votes are the tweens who vote ( 12-16) and they love his boyish looks and long hair. So, you are correct about that, he cannot sing. But the tweens don't know that. This is exactly why Sundance was voted off. Nothing sexy about Sundance in the eyes of the tweens... but he is clearly the better singer of the two.

Sanjaya shouldnt be competing against the beat box guy. He should be competing against Antonella Barba. And Antonella should still be in there. Did you see Sanjaya's hula dancing?? I think hes gay. He wont make it farther.

I think this competition is rigged..cuz that carnival singer whats her name? hayley? how come she beat out Sabrina? no way..
