Neither. The PSP is overpriced and tends to fall short of its goals as an entertainment device. The Ipod is a solid piece of hardware, but you're paying primarily for the name brand there. There are plenty of off brand MP3 players you can pick up that perform the same (or more!) and cost less. I'd recommend checking out SanDisk's line of players as a budget oriented alternative to Apple's price gouging.
