Let's go somewhere else, I have been to the Alamo a couple of times.
In case you do go, walk over to the Tower of America just a few blocks away from the Alamo. You get a very cool view from the top looking around San Antonio.

Love road trips! I've been to the Alamo, and it's pretty cool. It's a bit disconcerting to see it in the middle of downtown, though. San Antonio is a very interesting city to visit. I recommend it!

I'll pass. I've been to the Alamo three times. But while you are there, go to the RiverWalk. Way cool ... and out of this world Mexican food and margaritas!!! Don't speed... Texas Highway Patrol are thick as thieves and not a merry lot.

I am going on a road trip but only for 4 hours untill I pick up my friends and then it will be another 8 or 10 hours till we reach our destination. I have already asked what music is good for long road trips.
