Well it depends what you want. if you like the PS1 and want a pretty machine that can play UMD's and lite ps2 games then the PSP is the way to go. Its short batter life is not very portable to me..expect about 3-4 hours whereas the DS has a much larger and more fun library full of action, adventure, rpg's, silly games, and classic franchises. I would pick DS if I were you.

depends on what your looking for in a portable gaming console. If you want one to do alot of things eg: videos,pics,music,internet and of course games than get a psp. But if you want someting a bit diffrent get a ds eg: 2 screen (1 touch) and they are fun to play with plus they are cheaper. I have both but i still think that the psp is better but that is to my taste. i still go on the ds from time to time.

i like the ds game sharing, psp only has a few games with that
but psp has some really good games-medal of honor:heroes, socom ftb1 and 2

ds. the psp is basically a mimi ps2, whereas the ds is more of a console in itself. plus the ds and its games are cheaper!
