I am so sorry about your loss. I also had a miscarriage in January. I was only 5 weeks pregnant, and so after some on-line research I decided to try again right away. The only reason I could see for the doctor wanting you to wait for a normal cycle was so that they could more easily figure out your due date. If however you were farther along in your pregnancy, it is probably a good idea to wait three months to let your body recover from your last pregnancy. Whatever you decide, I wish you baby blessings!

I am so sorry for your loss. I miscarried in Feb at 9 weeks and was told to wait until my HCG levels were down to 0, as of yesterday they are, and after one normal cycle. So, according to my doctor you could start trying this month provided that you didn't have any other complications. Good luck!

I have had my 2nd m/c a few days ago at 6 weeks, its an emotional roller coaster but i have been told to wait until my next period.....its back to square one again. I wish you all the best and sorry to hear about your loss. Good luck!

I'm so sorry for your loss. i had a miscarriage in february. i had one doctor tell me to wait after 2 normal periods, then another doctor told me we could try again after one normal period.

I was tols to wait till one normal period. this can take anything from a month till 6 month or more. I miscarried january 2nd and although i have had some spotting occasionally im still waiting.

My doctor used to say, you should wait 6 weeks after a pregnancy (whether completed or not) before having sex.
Also, you should wait until you naturally get another monthly period.

after my miscarriage my doctor said we could try again after I had one normal period.

i think you could probably try again at the end of april beginning of may
